Southern Cheese Crackers Directions:

Preheat and Prep:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Make the Dough:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese, flour, softened butter, salt, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Mix until the dough comes together. If it’s too dry, add cold water 1 tablespoon at a time until the dough holds.

Roll and Cut:

  • Roll the dough into a log about 1½ inches in diameter. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Bake to Perfection:
