Directions:
For the nut corner dough, mix the flour with baking powder. Add the butter, egg, water, sugar and vanilla sugar and knead into a dough using the dough hook on the lowest setting, then turn the mixer up and mix again briefly.
Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the dough on the baking tray and spread thinly with apricot jam.
For the topping, mix the butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar and water in a saucepan. Stir in the hazelnuts (planed and ground) and allow the mixture to cool. Spread the topping over the dough.
Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 25 minutes at 180°C, top and bottom heat. Then leave to cool on a wire rack. Then cut into 8×8 squares and then cut them in half diagonally.
Dip the corners of the finished triangles into the chocolate icing and leave to set.
