Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken and Green Beans Skillet Directions:

  • Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  • Heat olive oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium heat.

  • Place chicken breasts in skillet and sear for 4 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked (165°F internal temperature). Transfer chicken to a plate and cover to keep warm.

  • In the same skillet, melt light butter spread and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.

  • Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest, stirring and scraping up browned bits from the pan.

  • Add green beans and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for 5–6 minutes until tender-crisp.

  • Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over chicken, and simmer for 2 minutes.

  • Garnish with lemon wedges, thyme, or parsley if desired. Serve warm directly from the skillet.
