Fruit Cobbler Directions

  • Spray the inside of the baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Spread the no-sugar-added pie filling evenly across the bottom of the pan.
  • Sprinkle the dry angel food cake mix over the pie filling, ensuring it is evenly distributed. Do not add any ingredients to the cake batter; use it dry.
  • Slice the light butter thinly and place the slices evenly over the dry cake mix, leaving small gaps between the slices.
  • Sprinkle stevia or sugar substitute and cinnamon evenly over the top.
  • Bake in the oven at 350°F for 25–35 minutes or until golden brown and fragrant. (The cobbler is done when it smells delicious!)
  • Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with a scoop of light whipped cream or yogurt (optional).
