Creme Brûlée Cookies Directions:

- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

- Use a small cookie scoop to portion tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared cookie sheets. Slightly flatten each ball. Bake for about 9 to 10 minutes or until the edges begin to brown. Allow to cool on the sheets for 2 to 3 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
- For the frosting, beat the reduced-fat cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar substitute and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Spread about a tablespoon of frosting on each cooled cookie. Dip the frosted top into the granulated sugar substitute to coat.
- Use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar-coated frosting just before serving. Allow to cool and harden before serving.
