Cheesy Hamburger Rice Casserole Directions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the meat is browned and the onions are translucent. Drain any excess grease.
  • Add the uncooked rice, beef broth, diced tomatoes with their juice, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the rice is tender and has absorbed most of the liquid.
  • Remove the foil and sprinkle both types of cheese over the top of the casserole. Return to the oven and bake, uncovered, for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
