Bread without an Oven Directions:

  • Mix the Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, Greek yogurt, baking powder, and salt. Mix until the dough comes together. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.
  • Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  • Divide and Shape: Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and then flatten it with a rolling pin or your hands to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  • Heat the Skillet: Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease it with cooking spray or a small amount of olive oil.
  • Cook the Flatbreads: Place one flatbread into the hot skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown spots appear and the bread is cooked through. Repeat with the remaining dough portions.
  • Serve: Serve the flatbreads warm. They can be enjoyed on their own or used as a base for wraps, sandwiches, or as a side with dips.
