Slow Cooker Hamburger Dip Directions:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess grease.
Transfer the cooked meat mixture to your slow cooker.
Add the cubed Velveeta cheese and the can of diced tomatoes and green chilies to the slow cooker.
Stir in the chili powder, cumin, and paprika. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
Cover and cook on LOW for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally until the cheese is completely melted and the dip is hot throughout.
Once the cheese is melted and the dip is heated through, stir in the sour cream until the dip is smooth and creamy.
Taste and then season with salt and pepper. Adjust the seasoning, if necessary.
Keep the slow cooker on the WARM setting as you serve to keep it nice and hot!
